We had a family box shoot today at Martin Steel. The whole experience was amazing, we had so much fun and even the kids... were loving it. I was so happy we got picked as a competition winner & able to get some amazing pictures of me, my partner & our dog.... So professional, laid back, friendly, felt very comfortable & the photographer was so good with the dog. Took our daughter for a cake smash and it was so much fun! The photographer we had was so nice and friendly, especially... towards a baby born during lockdown and isn’t so keen on strangers! The cake was provided as was a cute tutu for her to wear (trash) and they even played nursery rhymes. After the cake smash a tin bath was provided to take some pictures in and also clean the cake off. The photos have come out beautifully! We will definitely be backread more

I Recently visited for a photo shoot in December where every member of staff down to the actual booking were nothing... but efficient, safe and friendly. It has been difficult due to the pandemic, to be able to visit to pick and then collect the photos. This is through no fault of Martin Steels, they did everything to squeeze us in and communicated clearly working within the current restrictions. The staff are super friendly and even remembering our little boy 6 months down the line! The photos and staff are amazing! Thank you.read more

A lovely experience from start to finish. We were lucky enough to win a newborn photography experience and chose to... purchase a package of photos on top of the complimentary print (there was no pressure at all to do this).All of the people we met were so helpful. Kristen took the most beautiful photos of our baby girl, Martin was very patient at the viewing and Laura was a delight to deal with when booking (we had to change our original date) and picking up the prints. You could tell all of them took great joy and pride in what they do and rightly so!The quality of the work and of the finished prints is second to none. The app is a super idea - really easy to share the photos with family and friends.Thankyou all so much!read more

I attended a photo shoot with 2 children and a sausage dog hoping to salvage some decent photos from what I thought... could and would be carnage! How wrong was I!? WOW Martin was amazing with the children and our dog and took his time, I never felt rushed and the children loved him! we have ended up with some absolutely gorgeous shots of our little family! Blown away by both the photos and the service! We went in for a free shoot we'd won on Facebook and expected to walk... away with just the free 7x5 print. We've struggled through the pandemic and sadly couldn't afford any more photos. They listened to our circumstances and were then extremely kind, understanding and flexible with our package and offered us an affordable payment plan. We felt welcome and appreciated from start to finish and the images are incredible! I can't stop looking at them! We got the bump to birthday offer and so far have had the bump and the newborn sessions. Martin was brilliant in the... bump shoot and got some really special mementos of my first pregnancy with twins. We then went for the newborn shoot when our twins were two weeks old, the photographers were very nice and didn’t pressure us when our girls wouldn’t rest enough to take the shots and waited until they were ready. The photos that we then purchased are to a high standard quality and we couldn’t be happier with them and can’t wait for our sitting and cake smash shoots now. Photos are precious mementos of a special time which we can look back on in years to come.read more

The whole experience has been amazing from start to finish. We felt so at ease when being photographed, we were not... rushed and had so much fun. The kids loved being able to choose some of their own poses.When viewing our photos we were not pushed into buying everything, there was a great variety of options, suitable for everyone, to choose from. The difficult part was choosing the photos for our chosen canvas, we had so many to choose from.The picture quality of our canvas and photos are truly amazing, i can’t stop looking at them. Great little experience. I was a bit shocked to find that it was just a studio in a house garage. Still professional... service however and happy enough staff. Costly somewhat I thought but, I havent much to compare it to,to be honest. It's not something we do often.We liked the pics so went with a package.I do think it could have been cheaper. I thought it was a bit on the costly side. Over £400 for a large pic of 9 photos taken on a 20 by 20. All our pics on a drive and accessible app to share with family which isnt a complete rip off. I haven't time to shop around in all honesty otherwise that may have changed my mind.End of the day we won the family shoot which was a nice experience and the box photo was complimentary many thanks for that.There was no pressure on the sale which was nice but we chose to go with buying a package as it's our first family shoot after all and we havent many family pictures. But at the end of the day we all need to make money somehow and they gave the option to pay installments also but we are paying off in two lump sums to square up and get it out the way quicker.read more
